The incident, according to the TF1 channel, occurred on the night of Friday, January 30, in the 16th arrondissement of the French capital. Two robbers broke into the official's residence early in the morning, attacked him while he was sleeping, and inflicted a head injury. After that, they searched the house and took watches, brooches, and other valuables.
After the criminals left the scene, the official called the police himself. The victim was taken to the hospital, but his life is not in danger. The damage from the robbery amounts to between 6 and 7 million euros. Confidential data was not affected during the crime.
