An incident occurred in Valencia when a man climbed onto the roof of an airplane, causing a flight delay. According to Spanish media, the incident took place at the "Manises" airport.

The Vueling Airlines flight to Amsterdam was unable to depart on time as a young man of Moroccan descent went onto the runway and climbed onto the fuselage of an Airbus A320. The man, who suffers from a mental disorder, was detained by Civil Guard personnel and subsequently hospitalized.

According to medical sources, after receiving first aid on the scene, he was taken to the psychiatric department of the Main Hospital of Valencia. It was established that he had previously undergone treatment and was experiencing crises related to his return to Morocco. A day before the incident, he was seen in the terminal asking about flights to his country.

Although representatives of the Aena airport stated that the situation did not pose a threat to passenger safety or air traffic, the flight to Amsterdam was significantly delayed. Passengers were only able to depart at 21:00 on another aircraft after thorough checks of the fuselage of the original Airbus by Vueling's maintenance services. Additionally, protocols were drawn up for violations of air navigation rules.
