According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, the teenager fired several shots at a teacher and three of his classmates, and also detonated a firecracker. He is currently detained, and investigative authorities are working to clarify all circumstances. Criminal cases have already been initiated, including charges of negligence (Article 293 of the Criminal Code).
Ratmir Mavliev, the head of the Ufa administration, reported that the teenager had been bullied by his peers before the incident. "He entered with an air rifle and started shooting," the official added. A source from Ufa1 reported that as a result of the shooting, a history teacher was injured, suffering a bruise on his face. It was also mentioned that the boy had a hostile relationship with the teacher, which he himself wrote about on his Telegram channel. The shooter's parents hold high positions in the republican tax service, as reported by Baza. The boy's father noted that his son was struggling in school and complained about mockery from other students.
According to REN TV, the student recorded conversations with classmates and teachers on a voice recorder and published them on social media. In one of his posts, he mentioned thoughts of "taking revenge on everyone."
There are two security guards at the gymnasium — a man and an elderly woman. However, complaints had been made against the man by parents of students, who claimed that he often slept on the job.
