During his speech at the conference, Pahlavi stated that the brutal suppression of protests continues in Iran, and the number of casualties keeps rising.

He emphasized: "Every day, more people are dying in Iran."

According to the son of the Shah, it is necessary to immediately change the government, which he believes is dragging out negotiations to maintain power.

He addressed Trump and noted that the Iranian protesters "have heard him and believed in his words." Pahlavi added that the actions of the U.S. president could make him "one of the greatest heroes in the world."

Pahlavi also stated: "It is time to put an end to the Islamic Republic. This demand comes from my fellow citizens."

He stressed that the protesters need external support to continue their struggle.

The 62nd Munich Security Conference is taking place from February 13 to 15 in Germany, with more than 60 leaders and defense ministers from about 100 countries participating.

Earlier, two representatives of the U.S. administration told Reuters about the preparation of American military forces for a potential operation against Iran, which could take several weeks. This increase in preparation came after Trump's statements about the need for a change of power in Iran.

The White House also announced the deployment of a second aircraft carrier to the Middle East, as well as the transfer of fighter jets, destroyers, and thousands of military personnel. Trump warned that if negotiations on the nuclear deal fail, Iran can expect a "bad day."
