Masterpieces of three famous artists stolen from a museum in Italy

Last week, on the night of March 22-23, a robbery occurred at the Magnani-Rocca Foundation, located near Parma. According to local police, the criminals stole paintings worth several million euros, including "Fishes" by Renoir, "Still Life with Cherries" by Cézanne, and "Odalisque on the Terrace" by Matisse, reports the "Russian Service of the BBC".

According to reports, four robbers were involved in the heist. Wearing masks, they broke the entrance door and entered one of the halls on the first floor, after which they escaped with the stolen artworks through the museum's garden.

According to law enforcement, the operation took the robbers less than three minutes, and it was carefully planned. However, apparently, the triggered alarm scared the criminals, and they left the fourth painting they intended to steal in the museum.

The police are currently analyzing footage from surveillance cameras both at the museum and in neighboring buildings.

The Magnani-Rocca Foundation, established in 1977, is located 20 kilometers from Parma and houses the collection of art historian Luigi Magnani, which includes works by masters such as Dürer, Rubens, Van Dyck, Goya, and Monet.
