The court documents indicate that A.A., while on the territory of the Russian Federation, decided to sign a contract for military service and participated in combat operations in Ukraine, driven by selfish interests.

In February 2025, he was detained by the Russian police for violating migration laws. During the detention, he was offered to become part of the Armed Forces, to which he agreed, fearing deportation.

After signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense, A.A. was sent to a military unit located in the Voronezh region, where he underwent training, received a military ID, and an automatic rifle.

In March, he was transferred to Ukraine, where he participated in combat operations. As a result of a cluster munition explosion, he sustained a shrapnel wound to his right arm and was sent to a hospital. After treatment, he continued his service, providing food for his comrades in the conflict zone.

Last summer, A.A. returned home on leave, where he was summoned to the local internal affairs department. He cooperated with the investigation and admitted his guilt.

The court found him guilty under part 1 of article 154 ("Mercenarism") of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan and sentenced him to three years in prison. He will now serve his sentence in a general regime colony.
