At a recent board meeting dedicated to the results of 2025, he mentioned that the ministry is actively collaborating with foreign partners to train medical specialists. In particular, connections have been established with medical institutions in Russia, Turkey, the USA, and other countries.
According to the minister, the number of residents from KGMA sent abroad for training was previously limited, but there is now an intention to significantly expand this practice.
“Our goal is to increase the number of specialists undergoing training and internships outside the country. This is an ambitious project, but we are confident in its feasibility. We already have partners with whom preliminary negotiations have been conducted,” noted Dosmambetov.
In addition, he reported that a meeting is scheduled for early February with Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko. One of the main topics of discussion will be increasing the quotas for internships for Kyrgyz medical workers.
“We hope that the Russian side will be able to accept our specialists for internships at their own expense for a period of one to four years,” added the minister.
