Classes in the club are conducted by Professor Igor Viktorovich Pershukov, head of the department and Doctor of Medical Sciences. Pershukov has significant experience in scientific and editorial activities, being a member of the editorial boards of several medical journals indexed in international databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science.
Classes take place at various clinical bases of the NOPK JAGU, and their number increased in 2025.
The topics of the meetings cover the organization of scientific research, clinical protocols, the basics of medical statistics, and probability theory. Participants also engage in critical analysis of contemporary scientific publications from peer-reviewed journals.
During the club's activities, participants study materials, identify errors and discrepancies in scientific articles, and examine common and rare mistakes made by authors. The club's program covers about ten different clinical and scientific specialties.
