Quarantine phytosanitary control improved in the EAEU

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic announced amendments to the procedure for conducting quarantine phytosanitary control on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, which was implemented by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The main goal of these changes is to create more comfortable conditions for honest market participants, as well as to increase the transparency and efficiency of the control procedures themselves.
Among the key innovations are measures to prevent the inaccurate indication of recipients of quarantine products, which is reflected in phytosanitary certificates. This will help reduce the risks of rule violations and ensure more accurate tracking of goods movement within the Union.
There is also an emphasis on improving control and enhancing the level of phytosanitary safety across the entire territory of the EAEU. The implementation of these measures is expected to contribute to the protection of agricultural production, prevent the spread of quarantine objects, and ensure stability in the common market.
