The Kyrgyz Republic exports agricultural products to more than 60 countries around the world. This was stated by the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh.
Torobaev noted that within the framework of the state export support program, protocols have been signed with China for 15 types of agricultural products. In the coming days, additional protocols for three new items are expected to be signed. Simplifications have also been introduced for the export of 17 types of goods without the need for protocolization.
“A total of 462 enterprises working with the EAEU have been included in the export registry, 37 companies for China, 53 for Uzbekistan, 12 for Turkey, and 68 for EU countries. As a result, more than 60 types of products are sent to over 60 countries,” the minister added.
Furthermore, he emphasized that thanks to the efforts of the department, official permission has been obtained for the export of Kyrgyz honey to the European Union market.
