During a meeting of the regional state administration dedicated to the results of 2025, he noted: “You have been dragging this out for five years and cannot complete the project. This is simply unacceptable.”
Amangeldiev emphasized that the issue of irrigation remains extremely relevant for the region.
“The head of the Main Water Management Department of the Chui region, Erlan Omuraliev, is reading a report, while I would have already cried out of despair. If we do not resolve these issues in a timely manner, we will face serious difficulties. You are not even paying attention to the current weather and the events taking place,” he added, questioning the condition of the irrigation channels.
He also pointed out that, by the president's order, preferential loans at 6% per annum for the development of drip irrigation systems have been approved, which are provided by state banks.
The Cabinet of Ministers highlighted that this year the focus will be on supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition, Amangeldiev criticized local authorities for the lack of progress in utilizing facilities that are idle. According to him, since 2024, the situation regarding 39 facilities has remained unchanged, and the buildings are still not put into operation.
