Idrisov noted that the situation with seed supply varies depending on the regions.
“In different regions, the needs are different: in some areas, they are less, while in others, significantly more. Unused stocks can be redistributed to those areas where there is increased demand,” he explained.
At the moment, according to the minister, the necessary resources are available and are being distributed based on requests from farmers.
“We are ready to provide resources at a preferential price, based on the needs of each region and the required volumes,” Idrisov added.
Overall, there is a sufficient amount of grain seeds available throughout the republic, stored both in seed-growing enterprises and with major suppliers.
In addition, ministry representatives urged farmers to purchase certified and tested seeds, both for grains and for vegetable and fruit crops. According to them, certification contributes to increased yields.
“We recommend avoiding the purchase of dubious seeds without documents and quality confirmations, as this may negatively affect the harvest,” Idrisov concluded.
