He noted that by the end of 2025, the GDP of Kyrgyzstan in dollar terms is expected to be around 22 billion dollars, which indicates stable economic growth after the pandemic.
“We have achieved growth thanks to internal resources, without attracting oil, gas, and other raw material resources,” emphasized Choro Seyitov.
The Deputy Minister specified that the main factors contributing to growth are industrialization, the development of the energy sector, the creation of a transit hub, as well as increasing potential in agriculture and tourism. In particular, projects for the construction and modernization of processing enterprises, the development of renewable energy sources, and the improvement of transport infrastructure are actively being implemented.
In addition, measures are planned to improve the business climate, expand financial accessibility, and attract direct investments. It is expected that the successful implementation of these initiatives will ensure an average annual economic growth rate of at least 8% and increase GDP per capita by 2030.
