In Kyrgyzstan, the purchase price of raw milk with a fat content of 3.4% varies by region and can reach 48 soms per liter. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Republic.

According to the data, in the Chui region, the price of milk ranges from 35 to 47 soms per liter, in the Talas region — from 32 to 41 soms, and in the Issyk-Kul region — from 34 to 48 soms.

It should be noted that the specified cost refers to milk with a fat content of 3.4%. This order was established by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the KR No. 724 dated December 2, 2024.

In Central Asia, there is a variety of approaches to the formation of prices for raw milk, and not all countries in the region publish official data on this issue.

In Kazakhstan, for example, at the beginning of 2026, the average purchase price of raw milk from farmers is approximately 220 tenge per liter, which is equivalent to about 37 soms. This cost also depends on the quality of the milk and the region.

As for Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, official data on purchase prices for agricultural producers is not publicly available. However, market research shows that in Uzbekistan, the price of fresh milk is about 56–61 soms per liter, while in Tajikistan, retail prices range from 48 to 80 soms.
