The processing of fruits and vegetables in the Kyrgyz Republic increased to 2.24 billion soms by the end of 2025.

- According to official statistics, in 2025, the volume of processing and preserving fruits and vegetables in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 2 billion 240.45 million soms. This figure has significantly increased compared to 2024, when the production volume was 1 billion 306.35 million soms, which corresponds to a growth of almost 1.7 times.

The physical volume index for the period from January to December 2025 was 104.8%, indicating moderate growth in real terms.

However, there is a decline in monthly dynamics. In December 2025, the volume of fruit and vegetable processing amounted to 133.83 million soms, while in the same month of 2024, this figure was 105.31 million soms. The physical volume index in December 2025 was 56.6%, indicating a significant drop in production compared to the previous month.

Thus, although the fruit and vegetable processing sector demonstrated significant annual growth, it shows instability at the end of the year, which may be caused by seasonal factors, logistical issues, and a decrease in the raw material base.
