In this case, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case under Article 208 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational activities conducted by the Main Department of Criminal Investigation together with the Investigative Service, two suspects were detained: K.N., born in 2005, and T.H., born in 2001, while receiving part of the demanded funds.
The investigation continued, and a third participant of the group was identified — J.A., born in 1986, who was the organizer of the criminal scheme. A search was conducted at her place of residence, resulting in the seizure of evidence, and the vehicle used by the criminals was impounded.
The detainees were taken to the Investigative Service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek. During the investigation, it was revealed that J.A. had known the victim for many years and had information about his financial situation and family circumstances. Using the tragedy of the death of his son, she organized actions for extortion, involving other individuals in the crime.
Currently, further investigative activities are being conducted to clarify all the details of the case and to check the possible involvement of the detainees in other similar crimes.
