She emphasized that this is one of the main reasons for the formation of smog in the capital, and that immediate gasification of these areas is required.
According to the deputy, only 54 out of more than 100 residential areas have been gasified, which negatively affects the environmental situation.
“As is known, the company ‘Gazprom’ committed to gasifying these residential areas, but so far they have only managed to complete work in half of them. Why has the gasification of all residential areas not been completed yet?” Amanova asked.
The deputy also mentioned the prolonged lack of gas supply in the Kadamjai district.
In response, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, noted that the situation with smog in Bishkek has significantly improved this year compared to previous periods, and this should be acknowledged.
“We should thank the capital's authorities for this progress,” he added.
