The meeting focused on ways to improve statistical data through joint cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two countries.
Baktybek Kudaybergenov emphasized that the National Statistical Committee already has long-term and productive relationships with British statistical authorities, especially in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals and other important areas.
“The National Statistical Committee aims to study the experience of the United Kingdom in implementing information technologies, effective methods of collecting and processing official data, optimizing business processes, as well as in the use of administrative data. We are also interested in statistics on e-commerce, tourism, and the improvement of national accounts,” added the committee chairman.
