As reported by the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion covered a wide range of bilateral issues. Special attention was given to joint projects in the following areas:
- trade and economy;
- investment activities;
- mining industry;
- transport services.
In particular, the participants of the meeting considered opportunities for cooperation through the UK Export Finance (UKEF).
Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom expressed their desire to continue an active political dialogue. Meder Abakirov and Nicholas Boulter also agreed on the necessity of organizing mutual high-level visits to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
