The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov and attended by representatives from various government agencies.
During the meeting, participants discussed important issues related to enhancing the intellectual potential of the nation, strengthening national identity, and the spiritual upbringing of youth.
Particular attention was given to supporting publishing and promoting reading culture, as well as disseminating significant works of both Kyrgyz and world literature. The focus was on classic Kyrgyz literature, world classics, and children's literature.
Additionally, the participants noted the need to create effective tools to support creative youth and gifted writers.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to establish a special working group that will develop this state program.
