- on the 292-305 km of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway (Dolon pass);
- on the 201-205, 260-290, and 326-249 km of the Balikchy—Kazarmin—Jalal-Abad highway (Kok-Art pass);
- on the 45-90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek highway (Chong-Ashuu pass).
When traveling through avalanche-prone areas, drivers are advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
