In Bishkek, a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council took place, where the results of scientific research conducted in 2025 under the state order using the republican budget were discussed, as well as the feasibility of their continuation in 2026.

The meeting was chaired by Gulzat Isamatova, the Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations.

In her speech, the minister emphasized that science is a crucial factor for the development of all sectors of the economy and the social sphere. She noted the strategic importance of scientific research for the sustainable socio-economic progress of the country, stressing the need for practical application of their results in the real sector of the economy, the education system, and public administration, as well as the potential for their commercialization.

During the meeting, the results of the implementation of scientific projects aimed at developing key areas of science, technology, and innovation, as well as addressing pressing socio-economic issues, were analyzed.

The chairs of the expert councils for five areas presented reports on the completed work, achieved results, and the degree of implementation of planned indicators, as well as on the introduction of research results into production and their practical significance.

Members of the Scientific and Technical Council conducted an examination of the quality of the completed research, assessing the level of their scientific novelty and the possibilities for practical application of the obtained results.

Particular attention was paid to the efficiency of budget spending, the interdisciplinary nature of the research, and the prospects for the commercialization of scientific developments.

As a result of the work of the expert councils, two projects in the technical field and one in the socio-humanitarian sphere, which did not meet the established criteria, were brought to the discussion of the Scientific and Technical Council.

As a result of the discussion, one project was approved, while a decision was made regarding the need for revision and resubmission of the other two for consideration by the expert councils.

Ultimately, the Scientific and Technical Council noted the high level of implementation of most projects carried out under the state order and recommended continuing support for promising and practice-oriented scientific directions. Additionally, it was proposed to integrate certain scientific developments into sectoral programs and strategic documents.
