The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University has launched the exhibition "Education in Russia - 2026," featuring 27 leading Russian higher education institutions. This is one of the largest events for prospective students in the country, according to the university.

From April 1 to 3, the exhibition is taking place in Bishkek, Kara-Balta, Kant, and Tokmok, with the main center in the capital — the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.

The event aims to familiarize high school students with the opportunities provided by Russian higher education, as well as to assist in choosing a professional path and provide relevant information about admission and study.

Exhibitors represent universities from various fields: engineering, medical, IT, agricultural, pedagogical, and classical profiles. Guests will be able to communicate directly with university representatives, ask questions about admission rules and academic programs.

Albert Zulkharnayev, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Kyrgyzstan, commented:

“These exhibitions are held twice a year — in spring and autumn. They allow students to get acquainted with Russian universities in advance and make an informed decision about their education,” he noted.

According to him, the exhibition interests not only future students but also their parents, who actively participate in choosing the educational path for their children.

Sergey Volkov, rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, emphasized the importance of this exhibition for educational cooperation.

“Our partners, with whom we already have cooperation, are represented at the venue. We view such events as a way to strengthen ties and develop new joint educational programs,” he added.

In his opinion, the exhibition has generated significant interest among school students: “Already in the first hours of operation, we see a significant flow of visitors, which indicates high demand for quality education and interest in the offerings of Russian universities.”

Consultations on admission and study in Russia, as well as meetings with representatives of admission committees, are planned as part of the exhibition.

The organizer of this event is the public fund "Moscow Classics" with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is expected that the exhibition will attract thousands of school students and their parents, promoting educational dialogue and strengthening humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
