Construction work has begun on Shopokov Street
In Bishkek, opposite the Central Department Store (TSUM), the construction of a new hotel has started, according to information from the Urban Planning Council.
Local residents have noticed active construction work, where a foundation pit has already been dug and other preparatory activities are underway.
According to architectural services, a multifunctional 14-story hotel building will be erected at 121 Shopokov Street, which will include an underground parking lot, as well as cafes and restaurants.
Previously, this site housed the Sverdlovsk District Prosecutor's Office.
Additionally, in close proximity to this construction site, a shopping complex called "Old Bishkek" is being built.
