
As a result of recent personnel changes at the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacy," a new deputy director has been appointed — Samarbек Bolotbekov.
This appointment, according to representatives of the state enterprise, is aimed at strengthening the management structure and improving the legal support for the enterprise's activities, which should contribute to increasing efficiency, transparency, and sustainability in the processes of centralized procurement of medical products and medicines for healthcare.
Samarbек Bolotbekov is a graduate of the International University of Kyrgyzstan, where he earned a bachelor's degree in "Jurisprudence" with honors, and also holds a master's degree in international law. He is a candidate of political sciences and possesses a lawyer's license.
He has experience working in leadership positions in government structures, including as the head of the Sverdlovsk district administration of the Bishkek mayor's office, the mayor of the city of Naryn, and the director of the individual housing construction department of the capital's mayor's office.
In addition, he is the founder and head of the law firm "Lux-Consult," as well as an expert and consultant for several international and public initiatives in the field of law and development.
Recently, it became known that GP "Kyrgyzpharmacy" is headed by Bolot Junusov, a well-known historian and diplomat.
It should be noted that patients and citizens have expressed complaints about the work of "Kyrgyzpharmacy." The enterprise acknowledges the existence of problems in procurement but emphasizes that hospitals often submit applications late, with incomplete data or errors.
The Ministry of Health has initiated an inspection of the activities of the state enterprise.
In the country, up to 95 percent of medicines are procured through imports.
