According to the agency, employees of the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Kara-Suu District Police Department, together with representatives of the Kara-Suu District Department of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) for the city of Osh and the Osh region, conducted operational activities. As a result, citizens were identified who allegedly distributed extremist materials on social networks.
During the investigation, it was established that the suspects published materials related to the organization "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" through their accounts. Based on the collected materials, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 332 ("Manufacturing and Distribution of Extremist Materials") of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions have begun.
As a result of the operational-search activities, citizens S. uulu A., born in 2001, and A.M., born in 1997, were detained. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Operational and investigative activities to identify other individuals involved in the case are ongoing.
