In an interview for 24.kg, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov stated that medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan will be able to meet the standards that exist in the Czech Republic and Turkey.

He noted that there have been changes in the Ministry of Health with the arrival of the new leadership and their team.

“Although it will not be possible to radically change the situation in the next five years, within ten years, every district hospital, clinic, and central medical institution will fully comply with modern requirements. We will be able to provide high-quality medical care, modern equipment, and comfortable conditions for patients. This transformation will change our perception of life in the country. The expectation of such changes is a powerful motivation for me to work,” emphasized Edil Baisalov.

It is worth noting that Kyrgyz hospitals lack the necessary medical equipment and medications, and there are often queues in healthcare institutions.

It is also reported that the authorities plan to create a medical city in Bishkek, where leading national healthcare institutions will be relocated. Currently, partners are being sought for the implementation of this project.
