President Sadyr Japarov met with cadets from private driving schools on February 3, during which he discussed the need for reforms in this area.
“Currently, there are 275 private driving schools operating in our country. Most of you have received training in these institutions, and this training lasts about 2.5 months. However, the quality of driver training leaves much to be desired. Only 3–4 people out of all those wishing to learn are truly capable of completing a full training course,” he noted.

Additionally, the president raised the issue of candidates who cannot successfully pass the exam even after 20 attempts.
“Many of us have acquaintances who face such a problem?” he asked those present, to which one of the cadets confirmed this.

Japarov also emphasized that the system was different in the past: private driving schools charged fees, and due to corruption, many passed the exams only after 5–6 attempts. However, the introduction of artificial intelligence has made such manipulations impossible.

The head of state added that changes take time and cannot be implemented in a single day. “We need to think about the future and our children. The country must operate within the framework of the law — honestly and fairly,” concluded Sadyr Japarov.
