The number of flights and circulating buses on the Bishkek—Tokmok route will increase
According to the information from the department, on January 30, the Department of Ground and Water Transport, in cooperation with the Chui-Bishkek Regional Administration, conducted an inspection of passenger transportation on this route. Citizens reported that after 7:00 PM, minibuses do not operate, forcing them to use taxis. During the study, it was found that there is an increase in the number of passengers traveling from Bishkek to Tokmok on Fridays and Saturdays.
On February 2, the Department held a meeting with representatives of the companies servicing route lines No. 350 and No. 353. The meeting noted a trend of increasing passenger flow on weekends; however, after 8:00 PM, the number of people wishing to travel significantly decreases, creating difficulties for drivers in covering their expenses.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to ensure a sufficient number of trips for uninterrupted passenger transportation. If necessary, additional reserve minibuses exceeding the approved schedule will be deployed on the route, and the number of trips will be increased.
