The former akim of the Sokuluk district, Temirlan Birimkulov, has passed away.

Temirlan Birimkulovich Birimkulov, former akim of the Sokuluk district, passed away at the age of 81 after an illness. This news was confirmed by the Sokuluk district state administration, according to a report from a Turmush correspondent.

“He passed away yesterday, February 2. The farewell will take place tomorrow at 10:00 in the village of Asylbash, where he spent his childhood,” the akimat added.

Temirlan Birimkulovich was born in 1945 in the village of Asylbash.

Education

In 1978, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Kyrgyz State University.

Career

From 1968 to 1972, he worked as an electric welder at the Lenin factory;

From 1972 to 1973, he worked at the Belogorka state farm;

From 1978 to 1980, he worked as a teacher at Kirov Secondary School;

Until 1982, he served as the deputy director for educational and upbringing work at School No. 2 “Oktyabr”;

From 1982 to 1990, he held the position of director of the Belogorsk sanatorium school-forestry;

In 1990–1991, he worked as an instructor at the Sokuluk district party committee and as the director of the “Agrokurulushkomplekt” base in Novo-Troitsk;

From 1991 to 1998, he was the first deputy head of the Sokuluk district state administration;

From 1998 to 2005, he served as the akim of the Sokuluk district;

From 2008 to 2009, he was the akim of the Alamudun district in Chui region.
