The chief architect of the capital comments on the requests from developers
Construction companies have expressed their intention to build buildings ranging from 25 to 30 stories in the center of Bishkek, despite the restrictions set by the general plan, which permits buildings no higher than 9-14 stories. This was reported by the chief architect of the city, Mederbek Kydyrmaev, in an interview with "Kabar".
He noted: "We have received requests from investors and construction companies. However, due to the new general plan, the number of floors for the buildings has already been determined," he added.
