According to the press center of the ministry, the negotiations focused on crucial aspects of cooperation, including the development of primary healthcare, strengthening human resources, digitization of healthcare, readiness for emergencies, as well as issues related to antimicrobial resistance and mental health.
It was mentioned that the recommendations and technical knowledge provided by WHO are actively applied in Kyrgyzstan for the development of national programs and legislative acts in the field of healthcare.
Kanibek Dosmambetov emphasized the importance of the strategic cooperation plan between WHO and Kyrgyzstan for the period of 2024-2030, noting that it will serve as a foundation for planning joint activities. The Minister also highlighted the need for flexible adaptation of the strategy in accordance with the current priorities and tasks of the healthcare system.
Additionally, special attention was given to international and national health events in which Kyrgyzstan intends to actively participate.
