At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 5, Deputy Tumanbaev pointed out that after the completion of construction, companies are required to pay taxes to the budget. However, according to him, the process of commissioning facilities is being delayed, resulting in buildings in the republic where people have been living for a long time, but they have not been formally accepted yet.

He asked the question: "Who benefits from this situation? Billions in taxes are not reaching the budget. After commissioning, companies are supposed to pay taxes, but this is not happening. Why are the Ministry of Construction employees not facilitating the commissioning?"

In response, Minister of Construction Nurdhan Oruntaev denied these accusations.

“First of all, no one is interested in such a situation. Until 2022, there were about 200 facilities in the republic where people lived without formal commissioning. Currently, a special commission has been created to address this issue. Last year, about 150 facilities were commissioned, many of which lacked the necessary documents, and the owners of some companies were on the run. In one year, we managed to resolve the issue with 150 facilities. Currently, there are still 50 facilities remaining that are being worked on,” the minister said.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev also noted that recently the number of commissioned facilities has increased. According to him, in 2025, the volume of commissioned facilities will exceed the figures for 2024 by 57%.
