At the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Akylbek Tumonbaev drew attention to the problems with the commissioning of several real estate properties in Bishkek and Osh. According to him, in some buildings, people have been living for a long time, yet they have still not been officially put into operation.

Tumonbaev emphasized that such a situation negatively affects tax revenues to the budget. "Construction companies must pay taxes after the buildings are put into operation. It is possible that someone has an interest in avoiding these payments. There is a likelihood that the Ministry of Construction and construction firms may be colluding," the MP stated.

In response to these accusations, Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaev noted that no one is interested in such practices. "Until 2022, more than 200 properties did not have the necessary permits for commissioning. However, over the past year, a commission has been established that helped resolve issues for 150 of them. We continue to work on the remaining properties, as safety is our priority," he added.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev also noted that thanks to the active actions of the Ministry of Construction, in 2025, 1,400 more properties were put into operation than in 2024.
