"She was full of life and plans"
Roza Amuralieva, Aigul's mother, does not believe that her daughter could have taken her own life voluntarily. The day before the tragedy, Aigul visited family in Tokmok, where she was cheerful and full of energy."She had many plans; she was going to work in Belarus. I can't believe she could do something to herself," the woman stated.

On December 31, 2025, Aigul was on shift, working at the 3rd Children's Hospital of Bishkek and the Emergency Medical Center. That night she called her mother to wish her a Happy New Year and mentioned a large number of patients.
On January 1, at noon, the girl contacted her mother again and said she was finishing her shift and heading home. She lived near the Ayu Grand shopping center and planned to meet her friends on January 3, promising to bring her mother a gift.
Mother speaks of harassment
According to Roza, on December 30, when Aigul was visiting her, she kept receiving calls and rejecting them. When asked about her ex-boyfriend, Aigul confirmed that he was harassing her but assured that she would handle it herself. "I advised her to go to the police, but she said, 'I'm an adult, I'm 28. He won't do anything bad,'" the mother recounted.The girl passed away on the night of January 1 to 2.

Uncertainties surrounding the incident
The parents were informed of their daughter's death late at night. When Roza arrived at the scene, the apartment doors were closed, and police officers were inside. "There were a few of his friends there, but I can't say for sure. My daughter had already been taken away, and relatives who arrived earlier were not allowed in. Someone was cleaning up the things," the woman said.The investigation suggests that Aigul hanged herself with a hairdryer cord attached to a radiator in the bathroom. However, her relatives doubt this version. "There is a sink nearby, and the radiator is not high. It's hard to imagine how this could have happened. And if we assume she hanged herself, why didn't he help her? The doors are not broken if she locked herself in there," Roza questions.

Roza also noted that a strangulation mark was found on her daughter's body, the location of which raises doubts for her. "If a person hanged themselves, the mark should go upwards. She was a heavy girl; she couldn't have hanged herself as described. I don't understand how this could have happened. I hope for justice," Aigul's mother added.

Indira Soutova, a lawyer representing the family's interests, points out many uncertainties."The examination indicates asphyxia as the cause of death. But how could she have hanged herself on the radiator? It's also interesting that Aigul's and her ex-boyfriend's phones were formatted, and all SMS messages were deleted. Why was this done if it was a suicide?" the lawyer noted.

"Until all witnesses are interviewed, and many circumstances remain unclear. Bruises and abrasions were found on the body, some of which appeared shortly before death, while others were from several days before the tragedy," she added.
The family demands justice
Aigul's parents express dissatisfaction with the lack of clear explanations regarding the case and insist on further investigations."For a mother, the main thing is to get an answer, whatever it may be. We need answers," emphasizes Roza Amuralieva.
