
Abdilashim Ormonov was born on December 22, 1990, in the village of Zhany Turmush (formerly known as Baul) in the Leilek ayil aimak. He was born into a working-class family and received his religious education at the "Tair" madrasah, where he specialized in training imams-khatibs and Sharia law.
Throughout his professional career:
From 2014 to 2023, Abdilashim worked as an imam-khatib at the "Baul" mosque.
Since 2023, he has held the position of deputy chief imam-khatib of the Leilek district.
Since October 2025, Ormonov has been acting as the vice-rector of the Islamic Institute "Abdullo ibn Abbas".
Abdilashim is fluent in Arabic, Russian, and Uzbek.
It is worth noting that the previous rector, Murzali ajy Alibaev, left his position voluntarily.
