
During a working visit to the Issyk-Kul region, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talaybek Ibraev, got acquainted with the state of energy facilities in the region.
According to the department's information, the minister visited the 220/110/24 kV 'Tamga' substation, where he was shown the operation of high-voltage lines, the automation system, and relay protection, as well as the activities of the personnel. Ibraev listened to the opinions, problems, and suggestions of the substation workers.
As a result of the meeting, the minister expressed his readiness to support the resolution of the raised issues and gave a number of specific instructions. One of the tasks was to provide high-voltage line and relay protection teams with service vehicles.
In addition, a task was set for the reconstruction of the administrative building where the staff works.
The project for the construction of a 220 kV high-voltage line from Tamga to Karakol was also discussed, within which the expansion of the 'Tamga' substation, the purchase of specialized equipment for employees, and the installation of solar panels on the roof of the administrative building are planned.
