Citizens are advised to exercise increased caution
Given the tense situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly urges citizens in the United Arab Emirates to remain calm and take heightened precautions.
The ministry emphasized: "It is important to follow official announcements from local authorities in the UAE, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other competent bodies, and rely only on reliable information. We also ask that unverified information not be disseminated."
It should be noted that the UAE authorities have decided to temporarily extend the stay of citizens in hotels without additional costs and to prevent eviction due to flight cancellations or delays.
In this regard, Kyrgyz citizens are advised to remain in hotels and await updates from the authorities. It is important to maintain constant communication with foreign institutions, tour operators, airlines, and hotel management.
In the event of an air raid alert or other emergencies, it is essential to strictly follow the instructions of law enforcement agencies and hotel staff.
"Given the closed airspace in the UAE, we request that the possibility of leaving by land or through third countries be considered only in extreme cases and while continuously monitoring official information," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.
For prompt interaction and to update data on Kyrgyz citizens in the UAE, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs requests that individuals report their whereabouts to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, providing the following information:
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- Passport number;
- Actual address of residence in the UAE;
