
Kyrgyz citizens are advised to ensure in advance that there are no entry bans and to strictly adhere to registration deadlines.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration reminds about important aspects of the legislation of the Russian Federation for citizens of Kyrgyzstan planning to work in this country.
Before departure, it is recommended to check for any entry bans on the official website of the Employment Center for Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic — migrant.kg.
For legal residence and work in Russia, Kyrgyz citizens must complete the following mandatory steps:
- within 30 days of arrival, undergo a medical examination, register using fingerprinting, and have a photograph taken;
- within 30 days, register for migration accounting at the place of temporary residence. Citizens heading for work in Moscow and the region should use the "Amina" application for migration registration. Family members are registered according to general rules;
- conclude an employment or civil law contract;
- within 90 days, extend temporary residence based on the employment or civil law contract, obtaining the appropriate mark in the migration card at the migration accounting authorities.
