During the meeting of the Education Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova shared plans for the creation of free preparatory courses for the national testing.

The meeting also discussed issues related to the content of the national test questions. Deputy Gulai Mashrapova expressed concern over the large number of complaints from citizens who are dissatisfied with the quality of the tasks, noting that they do not meet the educational standards of Kyrgyzstan.

In her opinion, many questions pertain to topics that are not included in the school curriculum, which creates difficulties for both students and teachers, forcing parents to send their children to paid classes with tutors and other educational institutions.

In response, the deputy minister stated that an analysis of the structure of the national test shows that most questions are based on the school curriculum. She provided an example: if Ohm's law was not studied in school, then the corresponding questions cannot be included in the test.

Jusupbekova also pointed out the lack of qualified teachers in some schools and added that the Institute for Advanced Training has been tasked with developing new methodologies for teachers.

“We have already developed preparatory courses for the national test as an alternative to existing educational centers. The platform and test questions are ready, and our experts are working on implementing the course as soon as possible,” she reported.

Additionally, the head of the school education department, Melis Muzulmanov, added that special attention will be paid to preparing high school students for the national test as part of the 12-year education program.
