It is noted that the UAE authorities have issued directives for hotels, requiring them to extend the stay for guests whose check-out date has already passed, without charging fees during the period of current restrictions. If Kyrgyz citizens are being evicted, they are advised to follow these steps.
First and foremost, it is essential to remain calm and politely remind the hotel staff of their rights, referring to the directives from local authorities. The consulate emphasizes that hotels are obligated to extend the stay without additional payment under the conditions of restrictions.
Citizens should not leave their rooms voluntarily, remove their belongings, or sign eviction documents unless alternative accommodation is offered and the reasons for eviction are explained.
It is recommended to request the involvement of a responsible hotel staff member, such as a shift manager or supervisor, and to ask for the request for an extension of stay to be recorded in the hotel’s system or logbook.
In case of pressure from the hotel administration, it is advisable to call the police at 999. If the hotel insists on eviction, citizens should contact the police themselves or ask hotel staff to do so for the official registration of the situation.
The consulate points out that citizens should not pay for their stay out of pocket, as such funds are typically non-refundable.
It is also recommended to keep a record of events: take photographs and videos, note the hotel name, employee details, and retain correspondence, notifications, and receipts.
Citizens should immediately inform the embassy or consulate of Kyrgyzstan about their situation, providing the hotel name, address, room number, contact details, number of occupants including children and elderly, as well as the demands from the hotel.
If eviction has already occurred, it is wise to remain in the lobby or on the hotel premises until the police arrive or the situation is resolved with management, and to promptly contact the foreign institution.

Additionally, a brief phrase in English is provided for communication with hotel staff, stating the status of "stranded guest" in light of the current situation and the need for an extension of stay without charge.
