In his opinion, the video about the traffic violation portrayed him as a person who does not obey the law.
Erulan Kokulov, a deputy, spoke on social media about the situation related to his personal life.
He noted that despite the arising resonance, he decided not to rush into a denial, but to wait for the developments.
“Everywhere I go, I hear mockery and criticism. You saw that video. It creates a false impression that I initiated a conflict over an administrative protocol. This is not true. I confirm that the video was made,” Kokulov stated.
He expressed dissatisfaction that no one approached him to learn the truth about what happened.
“Not even journalists. The law requires that both sides be heard. You did not do this,” he added.
Kokulov also reported that trash was thrown at his car in the morning.
“This is how far it has gone. Yes, I acknowledged my violation of traffic rules. Unfortunately, circumstances developed this way. The video shows that the violation occurred around 19:00, and the inspectors came to me at 23:00. This time is already my personal life,” the deputy emphasized.
He also addressed the inspector of the Bishkek City Traffic Police, Nadir Jusupbekov, who drew up the violation protocol.
“I asked for just one thing. Nadir, I didn’t think you would post this video online. I sincerely trusted you, considered you a conscientious inspector who abides by the law. I have never been against your work. But I politely asked: let’s act within the law and during working hours. Why did you come to me at 23:00 and make a fool of me in front of my neighbors?”
Kokulov believes that the inspectors edited the video to present him as a person who does not comply with legal requirements.
