
The mayor planted young plane trees and emphasized the importance of careful monitoring of watering and care for the new trees.
“The effectiveness of our efforts depends on the quality of care for the greenery,” noted the mayor.


Since the beginning of the spring campaign, about 6 thousand new trees and shrubs have already been planted in the capital.
Currently, there are 93 thousand seedlings at the nursery of the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy".
The city hall also reported that the survival rate of trees planted in 2025 was 86 percent. This year, the city hall plans to intensify greening efforts and encourages residents and organizations to participate in the improvement and care of green areas.
It is worth noting that Bishkek is currently holding a two-month campaign dedicated to landscaping, sanitation, and greening the city.



On March 28, about 4,200 organizations and entrepreneurs, as well as over 37,000 residents of the capital, participated in another citywide clean-up day.
During the clean-up, 624 hectares of territory were cleaned, 330 tons of garbage were removed, trees were whitewashed, and 33.82 kilometers of irrigation networks, ditches, and canals were cleaned, as well as about 500 tree seedlings were planted.
