She reminded that earlier the State Committee for National Security had called on all those affected by the actions of Kamchy Kolbaev to contact the agency. According to her, a citizen recently approached her, stating that his boarding house had been taken over by an organized criminal group.
“He was full of hope and turned to the SCNS for help, but instead, his boarding house was seized by the SCNS itself. It has not been transferred to state ownership and is currently with a representative of the agency who was dealing with this property,” Surabaldiyeva noted, questioning whether the Prosecutor General's Office was working on such cases.
Maksat Asanaliev, the head of the supervisory body, responded that there are currently many similar appeals, and materials on 386 applications are being reviewed.
“I would like to take this opportunity to address citizens. In case of any violations, please contact the prosecutor's office. We will conduct an investigation, and there should be no doubts,” he assured.
