
A sociological survey covered more than a thousand respondents across the country
According to the results of a sociological study conducted by the Kusein Isaev Center for Social Research at Bishkek Humanities University, the majority of Kyrgyz citizens express optimism regarding the current state of affairs in the country.
The survey was conducted from December 25 to 29, 2025, and gathered over a thousand responses.
It was found that 90% of participants believe that Kyrgyzstan is moving in the right direction, while 11% hold the opposite opinion.
Reflecting on the past year of 2025, 64% of respondents characterized it as positive, and 17% described the year as very successful. About a quarter of those surveyed noted that the year was both good and challenging, while 7% considered it rather difficult or very hard.
As for forecasts for the future, more than 84% of survey participants look forward to the prospects of 2026 with hope.
