New rules regarding the training for driving motor vehicles have come into effect in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Now, to obtain a category "B" driver's license, students will undergo a 10-month course that includes 480 hours of training. The program covers the theoretical foundations of traffic rules, first aid in traffic accidents, legal aspects and driver ethics, as well as the psychophysiological basics of vehicle control.

For those wishing to obtain a category "C" license, a 10-month course is also provided, but its volume is 422 hours.

Those who want to obtain licenses for both categories simultaneously will have to study for 12 months, totaling 576 hours.

The number of questions on the exams has significantly increased: from 750 to 2000. In addition, the use of artificial intelligence for assessing the knowledge of the candidates is planned.

According to the new data, the cost of training will also change. Previously, it ranged from 25,000 to 25,000 soms, but the exact amount has not yet been announced by the Presidential Administration.

Everyone intending to obtain a driver's license will be able to submit applications through a specialized platform.
