In the course of 11 months of 2025, the regions of Russia spent 828.5 million rubles on purchasing tickets for the administrative deportation of foreign citizens. According to information from the "Tender Plan," this amount has increased by almost 30% compared to 2024. The stated expenses are comparable to the budget deficit of Ingushetia for 2026, as reported by the publication "Vedomosti."

The Central Federal District became the leader in expenses, allocating almost 343 million rubles, which is 30.5% more than last year. The Northwestern District nearly doubled its spending, bringing it to 206.8 million rubles. The Ural District demonstrated record growth — expenses increased 20 times (from 537.6 thousand to 11 million rubles).
Since February 2025, the functions of deportation have been transferred from judicial authorities to territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This change has accelerated the process: now a decision can be made by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the day after the protocol is drawn up.
According to data from the Federal Bailiff Service, 54,400 people were forcibly deported in the 11 months of 2025. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds that if a foreigner has not reimbursed the state for the costs of their deportation, their entry into Russia will be closed until the debt is fully paid.
