The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktay Urmambetov, Chief of the City Department of Internal Affairs Azamat Toktonaliev, as well as heads of various units and veterans of the internal affairs bodies.
During the meeting, they discussed achievements in ensuring public order and safety, measures to combat crime, prevention of offenses, as well as countering domestic violence and the functioning of the licensing and permitting system.
Based on the reports presented, the leadership of the City Department of Internal Affairs issued instructions to strengthen discipline and improve work efficiency. Some units received evaluations of their activities, and a number of leaders were held accountable for identified shortcomings and improper performance of official duties.
In addition, within the framework of the event, winners of departmental competitions "Best in Profession" and "Best Veterans Council" were recognized.
