It is also proposed to abolish probation for such drivers


At a meeting of the parliamentary committee, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktobur Urmambetov announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic's proposal to introduce stricter measures for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

According to Urmambetov, the new bills propose the abolition of probation for those drivers who have been caught driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and have caused harm to health or death to other people.

In addition, it is proposed to increase the term of administrative arrest to 20 days.
