In Kyrgyzstan, changes have begun in the field of fisheries aimed at modernization and simplification of operations through digital technologies. The Department of the Fishery Complex, which operates under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, has initiated the implementation of various digital platforms and information systems.

One of the key innovations is the "Electronic Fishing License" system, created for enthusiasts of sport and recreational fishing. This electronic license can be purchased on the official website of the ministry or through the MegaPay mobile application using QR codes from all banks in Kyrgyzstan.

An automated information system called the "Unified Electronic Register of Fishery Water Bodies and Fishery Entities" is also in the operational stage. This system provides users with the ability to obtain state-paid services in electronic format, significantly simplifying interaction with the department.

In particular, users can submit online applications for a fish farming passport and biological justifications for fish breeding.

Additionally, an "Information System for Traceability of Fish and Fish Products" is being developed, which will help ensure compliance with veterinary and sanitary standards in aquaculture and increase the export potential of local fish products. This system will allow tracking the entire process—from egg incubation to preparing finished products for export—in digital format.

These measures create more convenient conditions for fish farmers engaged in aquaculture and contribute to transparency and efficiency in the development of the industry. The department noted that the implementation of digital technologies is a key direction for the further development of the fishery sector, and they plan to continue working in this direction.
